Chronic pain journeys leading To StimRouter: A patient discussion
In the United States, over 50 million people are living with chronic pain. For many, chronic pain can dramatically reduce people’s overall quality of life, affecting not only themselves but their personal and professional relationships as well.
We recently captured an honest and unscripted conversation with three real women who were living with unmanageable chronic pain. Like many others in the country who can relate to losing control of their lives, their unique stories represent how difficult it can be to find an appropriate treatment plan, especially when it seems like all available options have been exhausted. These wonderful women were willing to share their journeys in hopes of helping others who are frustrated, discouraged and unsure where to turn next when it comes to finding pain relief.

Linda Thorp
Prior to her chronic pain, Linda was a very active person, but the foot pain she suffered from prevented her from doing the activities she loved. She went through various types of treatments with no success until she received the StimRouter, which gave her her life back.

Felicia Hancock
A retired police officer, Felicia was injured on the job during a motorcycle pursuit that ended in her breaking her wrist and suffering nerve damage. For months she tried different therapies, but nothing worked until she tried the StimRouter, and now she’s never looked back on her decision.

Dr. Fabienne Rottenberg
A private practice physician, Dr. Rottenberg became injured during a ski accident, resulting in nerve damage. She tried many different types of treatment options, including surgeries and medications, but nothing helped and her quality of life was deteriorating. It was a long journey, but when she received the StimRouter, she finally found a treatment that worked for her.
To learn more about these women’s journeys with chronic pain — from injury to a treatment that worked for them — and to hear how the StimRouter is making a difference in the lives of people across the country, listen to the conversation.
