Do you suffer from chronic pain? You’re not alone.

Chronic pain affects millions of Americans, with more diagnoses every day. Pain is considered chronic when it lasts for at least 90 days. Chronic pain can result from injury, surgery, or illness and can significantly impact the quality of life of those suffering.

Many chronic pain patients report a significant reduction in quality of life. Pain can negatively impact mobility, can prevent people from performing normal activities of daily living, and can damage relationships with friends and loved ones.

Treatments for chronic pain

Most treatment programs for chronic pain start with physical therapy, medication and injections. However, some people are unable to gain relief from these options. Some patients’ pain prevents them from fully engaging in physical therapy, so they are not able to get a meaningful benefit. Opioid-based medications carry a laundry list of negative side effects and simply may not be a viable option for some people.

If you are not able to get the pain relief you want from other treatments or are worried about taking opioids, other options are available, including the minimally invasive StimRouter Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) procedure.

What is StimRouter PNS?

StimRouter has been successfully used to treat pain all over the arms, legs, and torso. It works by targeting the nerves specifically responsible for your symptoms. A StimRouter lead is implanted during a minimally invasive outpatient procedure. Your StimRouter is programmed specifically for your needs. Your pain is personal and StimRouter offers flexible programming options to support your therapy needs.
