Je ne pouvais pas bouger mon bras, tellement j&rsquo;avais mal. La s\u00e9ance de r\u00e9\u00e9ducation avec mon th\u00e9rapeute a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s courte. Je savais que je devais faire quelque chose, car ne pas bouger n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas une option et je refusais de vivre ma vie dans une douleur constante.<\/p>\n<p>Mon m\u00e9decin, expert dans le traitement des douleurs chroniques, m&rsquo;a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 plusieurs options et j&rsquo;ai choisi StimRouter de Bioness car il \u00e9tait peu invasif et traitait ma douleur \u00e0 la source.<\/p>\n<p>Deux semaines apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;intervention StimRouter, les petites incisions chirurgicales \u00e9taient gu\u00e9ries. On m&rsquo;a donn\u00e9 le g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur d&rsquo;impulsions externe qui se colle sur la peau au-dessus de mon implant, afin de fournir l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire au petit fil qui stimule le nerf pour r\u00e9duire ma douleur \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9paule. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait incroyable. Lorsque le m\u00e9decin l&rsquo;a mis en marche, la douleur a disparu et maintenant, je ne ressens qu&rsquo;un l\u00e9ger picotement dans l&rsquo;\u00e9paule.<\/p>\n<p>Maintenant, je peux bouger mon bras, le soulever et effectuer des exercices avec l&rsquo;aide de mon th\u00e9rapeute et la douleur a totalement disparu. Avec le petit contr\u00f4leur-patient, que j&rsquo;appelle ma t\u00e9l\u00e9commande, que je porte autour du cou, je peux augmenter ou diminuer StimRouter pour ma\u00eetriser ma douleur. Je l&rsquo;utilise tous les jours.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Quand StimRouter est allum\u00e9, il n&rsquo;y a pas de douleur. Lorsque j&rsquo;\u00e9teins l\u2019appareil, je n&rsquo;ai plus mal pendant au moins 4 \u00e0 5 heures.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Si je pouvais parler \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres personnes souffrant de douleurs \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9paule apr\u00e8s un accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral, je leur dirais : \u00ab Allez-y.
